“Go ye therefore and teach all nations!”
These are the exciting words of Jesus’ Great Commission (Matthew 28:19). Part of the promise of God to Holy Ghost filled believers is “ye shall receive power… and ye shall be witnesses unto me… unto the uttermost part of the earth” (Acts 1:8).
Missions – whether at home or abroad – is the mission of God! In reality not every one of us can GO to the far-flung nations and tribes who people the earth, but every one of us can help SEND the gospel of Jesus Christ into all nations. In this missions conference we hope that you will be commissioned to a commitment – a commitment to help send the gospel around the world. Join us as we join together to fulfill Christ’s command.
Kris and Robin Tapia – missionaries to the nation of Turkey – will be ministering in our Friday night global missions service; the service will begin at 7:30 PM and will be followed by a banquet featuring food, decorations, and costumes representing every part of the globe.
The Saturday night service will also begin at 7:30 PM; this service will focus on North American Missions. Pastor Shannon and Sister Whitni Thornhil – NAM missionaries to Hernando, MS – will be ministering in this service.
The conference will conclude on Sunday morning (10:00 AM) with a Faith Promise Service, led by Missionary Bobby Lewis. Brother Lewis and his wife Tanya are veteran missionaries, and are returning to Germany after serving most recently as church planters in North America.
This service provides everyone the opportunity to make a commitment by faith to sacrificially give to missions in the upcoming year; begin to pray now about what the Lord would have you promise to do this year to help send this glorious gospel into all the world.
Join us again this year for three nights of apostolic worship and anointed preaching.
May 24, 25, 26.
A meal will be served for all guests in the Family Life Center after both the Thursday and Friday night services.
FEBRUARY 3 – 5
God commissioned His Church to “go into all the world and preach the gospel.”
It is not possible for everyone of us to leave our homes and go to foreign fields and unchurched cities, but everyone can do something to send laborers into the harvest fields across America and the globe!
Join us for Mission Conference 2017, and make a commitment to do something to send the whole gospel to the whole world!
“But whoso hath this world’s good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?” (1 John 3:17″
“If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food, And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit?” (James 2:15-16)
AN OPPORTUNITY TO HELP BROTHERS AND SISTERS IN NEED
COLLECTING DISASTER RELIEF SUPPLIES AT POWELLS GROVE CHURCH UNTIL FRIDAY NIGHT (AUGUST 19).
The flood in the Baton Rouge area has left thousands of people homeless or with damaged homes.
Several churches within our fellowship have also been flooded, and hundreds of saints are returning to damaged homes. Most of these people did not have flood insurance, compounding the scope of the disaster.
We will be collecting emergency supplies here until Friday night if anyone would like to donate. Items needed include:
BLEACH AND CLEANING SUPPLIES
BUCKETS AND MOPS
DIAPERS AND BABY WIPES
SOAP AND SHAMPOO, TOOTHBRUSHES AND TOOTHPASTE
NEW BLANKETS AND NEW SHEET SETSNON-PERISHABLE FOODS
The supplies will either be delivered directly to Baton Rouge by those going to assist in the clean-up or will be delivered to the MS District Campgrounds where they will be collected and distributed by Outreach Services International, an endorsed ministry of the MS District of the United Pentecostal Church.
Join us on July 4th at 9:30 AM!
All proceeds will benefit Mother’s Memorial.
Join us for three nights of worship and powerful preaching.
